What is reality? It's what most people believe.
Let me give you the example of the value of the US dollar. It's a worthless piece of paper, yet because of a collective belief in its value, it has value.
Beliefs are all-powerful. They shape our worldview, which in turn, cements our reality.
So, how do we change what we dislike about Mexico and transform reality? Let's start by changing our language. Instead of spending time complaining, let's start empowering ourselves and seeing the world not as an overwhelming and hostile place, but as a collaborative place full of opportunity.
Every time someone approaches us with negative comments, instead of falling into the victim or lamenting game, let's turn the situation on its head. Let's look for what good can come out of all this. How can this apparent setback be used as a springboard to move forward.
If enough people do this, the collective perception will begin to transform, and reality will begin to transform.
International analysts, such as PwC, repeatedly state that Mexico is destined to be the 7th most important economy in the world by 2050. And all the arguments they present are true, except for one small detail: we Mexicans have to believe it ourselves.
So, right now, the number 1 task we have to commit to is changing our attitude. Again, we have to empower ourselves and shoulder to shoulder, move the country forward, as we have done on repeated occasions during earthquakes and hurricanes.
All great projects that have transformed humanity have emerged from a small group of visionary, inspired, and tenacious people. This is our moment to change Mexico. To drive a change in attitude from our companies and families.
Where to start? Through emotional resilience training! We need to train our people to regain self-confidence by learning and applying a series of habits in their lives, which will help them be healthier, more positive, and happier.
invites you to be part of the solution. I have been developing an online course called «Conquer Your Happiness: 10 Weeks to Emotional Resilience»that this year has allowed me to influence the lives of more than 20,000 people.
A client, who implemented this course for their 5,000 employees in Peru, commented that thanks to the principles they learned and developed over the 10 weeks of the course, they saw how their reaction on November 9, 2020, to the impeachment of their country's President was much more level-headed, reflective, and proactive. Because of this, they were able to transmit this peace, strength, and resilience to their team. And since their team had also taken the course, there was a proactive communication platform on which to build a much more effective response.
Undoubtedly, we are living in unprecedented times that, if viewed from a positive perspective, can be the trigger that Mexico requires to set a new course and build a better country to live in.
The starting point is education. Let's commit to re-educating ourselves. To stop being our own worst enemies and to believe again in ourselves, in the great possibilities our country offers, and to collaborate decisively to make it the 7th most important economy in the world, which is rightfully ours.
In conclusion, just as the confidence that gives value to the American dollar, strengthening self-confidence will change our lives and the future of the Nation. Mexico has everything to succeed. All that's missing is you.
Let's get to work. Let me help!
